The amount a Nexus store owner earns is specific to each game and creator program. Premium game revenue share can be seen in the dashboard via the nexus library. For details regarding publisher-run creator programs, you're best bet is to consult the program manager of that specific program.
The exact dollar amount you receive also depends on a few variables, which are listed below.
Price of Item
This one may be obvious, but the amount you earn for a $60 product vs a $10 one will be different.
Publisher Share
When selling games on Nexus, the publisher’s cut is typically somewhere between 70-80% of each sale. The amount of profit after an 80% publisher cut will be less than the profit where a publisher only takes 70% of each sale.
Payment Processing Fees
These fees are fixed at 2.9% of the membership cost + $0.30 USD for each transaction. Payment processing fees from game sales are equally split between you and Nexus.
Nexus is about and for creators. In order to align our business with this philosophy, we split fees with you. By working to get the best revenue split from publishers/developers and reducing fees, both you and Nexus benefit.
