We recommend activating either the Streamlabs integration or StreamElements integration so that you're notified during your stream whenever a member of your community makes a purchase in support of you.
To set up the Streamlabs purchase alerts, please follow these instructions:
- Go to the “Settings” tab within your Nexus dashboard.
- Click “Activate” next to the Streamlabs option.
- Sign in to your Streamlabs account if you haven't already.
- Authorize the connection to Nexus, and then you're done!

To set up the StreamElements purchase alerts, please follow these instructions:
- Go to the “Settings” tab within your Nexus dashboard.
- Click "Activate" next to the StreamElements option.
- Sign in to your StreamElements account if you haven't already.
- Authorize the connection to Nexus, and then you're done!

Integrations FAQs & Troubleshooting
FAQ
Q: What will the purchase notification look like?
A: The notification will include the purchaser’s name and the amount of your cut from the sale.
Q: Can I change the format of the purchase notification?
A: The alert will use whatever Donation alert template you have already set up in Streamlabs/StreamElements.
Q: I use a different platform for alerts. Will you be adding more?
A: We’re currently only supporting Streamlabs and StreamElements, though please let Nexus staff know if you use a different service, and they'll see what can be done.
Troubleshooting
Q: Purchase alerts aren’t coming up in stream, though I know a member of my community purchased through my link. What’s wrong?
A: First, make sure you have activated the Streamlabs or StreamElements integration. Next, make sure you have linked your Twitch account and are currently live.
Q: I’m not seeing my test alerts. How come?
A: Make sure you have set your minimum required donation to $0 for an alert to trigger; otherwise, you won’t see it.
